Hair Extensions at the Secret Salon Academy Individual Methods
we pride ourselves on offering discreet natural hair extensions, our individual methods offer the most natural look and are suitable for all hair types, we love microbeads and nano bead hair extensions for flexibility and wearing your extensions up, nano beads are 90% smaller than microbeads and both are great for adding colour such as balayage without colouring your own hair! Nano and microbeads are applied with a copper bead which is simply closed into place and opened to release.
These individual strands are fitted throughout your hair so the weight is distributed evenly enabling the client to add half a head for thickness or a full head for length
with the right aftercare all our extensions are re-usable and last up to 9 months we recommend re-fitting every 6-8 weeks so no damage is caused
Tape methods
Tape extensions are one of the latest methods on the market and are great for adding new length and weight to your hair, this method is flat to the scalp and very discreet, almost invisible and gives a full head of hair in less than an hour. These cleverly designed tapes ensure that the weight is distributed across multiple strands of hair, preventing them from putting stress on your natural hair.
Suitable for all hair types tape hair extensions can be used to fill out hair outlines and gaps or to add extra length with the right aftercare all our extensions are re-usable and last up to 9 months and we recommend re-fitting every 6-8 weeks so no damage is caused
Weave Methods
We offer weaves too! Weaves are designed for adding lots of weight as these can hold the most hair, so if it’s lots of grams your after a weave is for you! These are available in a selection of colours for highlighted hair and are fitted using silicone-lined microbeads to grip onto your own hair, the weft is sewn onto micro beards support, and these can be fitted on clips or microbeads for a more permanent solution, weaves are easy to remove and refit

We recommend maintaining your hair extensions every 6-8 weeks depending on your hair type we may want to see you a little earlier, this is to prevent any damage to your natural hair nut definitely do not recommend going over this time frame
Can I wear my hair up?
some methods are easier to wear up than others, if you wear your hair up often we would recommend our nano bead method as they are super discreet and flexible
Can I use heat to style my hair?
all our hair extensions are human remy hair, which means all the cuticles are intact like our own preventing any bushing and tangling so we can wash and style as we would our own natural hair, we do recommend using heat protectors along with sulphate-free shampoos to proling to life span whilst stying your hair
How long to your hair extensions last?
Our hair extensions last upto 9 months providing you follow our after care advice but you are given a sheet to take home should you need to refer back to it for help!
